was this dog rescued? yes, I found Skippy as about a two-week old puppy who was dirty and extremely hungry. he was hiding under a parked car and I had to coax him out from underneath it. my mom and I took him to the vet that morning after stopping by 7-11 and getting a carton of milk. Mom held him and soaked a paper towel in milk while he sucked on it, drinking a lot of it before we made it to the vet. then, after getting him home, we started him on solid food and boy did he grow…and grow…and GROW! now, he is the sweetest dog - a small horse, but a really sweet dog! i have rescued both of my dogs, and I would tell EVERYONE to always get your dogs from the shelters because they NEED homes! if we get them from shelters, we will have less people breeding and we won't be encouraging overbreeding!
