wolf lab
height of a wolf black lab
group: mixed breed
height: 28" / 71.12 cm

weight: 63 lbs / 28.58 kg
name: Wraith sex: f
colors: black and white
physical traits: white blaze on her chest, as well as a white beard-esque bit under her mouth. Constantly wagging tail.
breed mixes: Wolf, Black Labrador Retriever
hair type: medium length, thick
personality/
temperament:
Easily frightened by strange noises, but very loyal. Doesn't have any idea how to play fetch, but adores running for hours at a time in the backyard (we no longer have grass). Otherwise calm, and lazy. A natural mother (though she's never had a litter of her own)
maintenance/
special needs:
Very rarely has 'accidents', but they do still happen. That aside, very low. Needs a good walk at least once a day
nicknames:

identifying traits: a small scar above her left eye, where a past excursion into having more than one dog went horriably wrong.
birthday (if known):
favorite friends:  Her family-or any other dog she can meet-aside from Chihuahuas. she doesn't like them.
favorite activities: Sleeping, eating, going on walks, romping in the yard, wrestleing on the floor, chaseing the cats, catching the cats, chaseing me, catching me, licking.
favorite foods: Stolen pizza
favorite attire: Pond water, it seems.
good with kids? Yes
was this dog rescued? Yes. Wraith, our lovable 2-year-old Wolf/Lab hybrid was abused by several people for the first 8 months of her life. When we managed to claim her (her owners were threatening to dump her in the middle of no-where if we didn't take her) she was afraid of everything. Any movement, they didn't have to be sudden, and she'd dart of with her tail tucked between her legs. But we were patient, and within a few months we had an odd little mutt, that knew few strangers. She's never bitten, and we thought she was mute 'till we heard her 'talking'... that is- sort of half-way howling noises. She's a wonderful dog and I would encourage anyone to rescue a dog, if they love animals (or at least dogs) and feel up to the challenge of helping them.
