was this dog rescued? We got Shadow from the Dogs Trust in Leeds (UK) after she was found wandering the streets. From the very first moment we met, we knew she was something special. She was keen and happy to be with us when we took her for a walk, very trusting and friendly considering she was a stray, and so within minutes she felt like our dog - and we couldn’t walk away. Apart from a few teething problems when we first got her home (mainly chewing things) she has become the most amazing dog either of us have ever known. We struck gold with her but I’m sure that many thousands of other rescue dogs go on to be similar pets. We will never get a dog from a breeder again. And her particular ’mix’ is truly wonderful.
